Tim's career began nearly three decades ago writing software for companies like Netscape and IBM, and has since run through federal energy, fintech, retail analytics, and transportation technology. He grew from engineer to Director and CTO, scaling engineering teams from 4 to more than 20 people while keeping delivery on track. As CTO of a transportation technology firm, he helped turn $4-5M in annual losses into profitability on $24M in revenue, including an emergency system rewrite that saved a $24M contract and shipped 70% faster than estimated.

Tim is a builder as much as an executive. As founding CTO of a connected golf startup, he took a hardware product from concept to MVP in five months as the sole technical founder, owning everything from electronics, computer vision and firmware to mobile, web, and cloud. As a Fractional CTO with HERA, he brings that same hands-on leadership to clients who need technology to produce business results: practical AI adoption, technical due diligence, and engineering teams that deliver. Recent work ranges from stabilizing a failing production application that secured a client's contract renewal, to guiding a pre-seed founder from no product to 100 paying customers in three weeks.
